Real Wood Veneer
Please Note: All Classics Hardwood Flooring sheets
are being manufactured by a new company as of 2026. There are differences
in appearance from previous floors. Do not expect these sheets to match
older products exactly.
INSTRUCTIONS
OPTIONS:
If you
prefer a finish on the Veneer – prior to installing, sand lightly with a fine
grit sandpaper, then use a light coat of stain and clear finish such as
polyurethane.
If you wish
to ever remove the flooring: Make a cardboard template of the room you are
covering. Trace pattern on wood sheet
and cut with sharp shears. Flooring can
be directly adhered to the cardboard ‘sub’ floor by peeling off backing paper
and using the self-adhesive sheet; or by leaving backing paper intact and using
double sided tape, white tacky or clear glue such as Quick Grip.
If you wish
to install floor permanently: Make a template of the room you are
covering. Trace pattern on sheet and cut
with sharp shears. Flooring can be
directly adhered to the floor by peeling off backing paper and using the
self-adhesive sheet; or by leaving paper intact and using double sided tape,
white tacky or clear glue such as Quick Grip.
Please
Note: Using the self-adhesive sheet placed
directly into the dollhouse room can be difficult. If not placed correctly, floor can be damaged
if you attempt to lift to straighten. It is suggested to use the ‘sub’ floor
method.
Tip: if individual
floor boards lift from adhesive backing, try pressing down or weighting with
something such as books. The sheet can
also be covered with a light towel and pressed with a hot iron to reactivate
the glue.
